Episode 11

EP 114 The Cleanse

Published on: 26th August, 2026

We are all the protagonists in our own story. We view our actions through this lens, and view anyone who opposes our viewpoint as the villain. But what about their viewpoint? They are the protagonists to their own story, so to them, what does that make you? At the highest level, there are no "good guys" and "bad guys", just different viewpoints, and different aspects of the Creator. Keeping this in mind as we navigate time and space, will allow us to more easily bring out the God in one another. Join Brother Adam X and Brother Amin Muhammad as they discuss cleansing the demons within and the extension of grace, first to ourselves, and then to others. As we traverse the complexities of our experiences, we emphasize the significance of humility and the commitment to evolve beyond past mistakes and toxic patterns.

Transcript
Speaker A:

You are now entering a very sacred space.

Speaker A:

This is the Ascension, the lift of God universe, the realest podcast in the galaxy.

Speaker A:

This is a new dimension where time shifts and boundaries end.

Speaker A:

And with that being said, all views, opinions and statements uttered on this platform are the sole property of their speaker and do not represent the views of any related outside organization, entity or party.

Speaker A:

Every man or woman in this universe speaks for his or herself, as it should be.

Speaker A:

Enjoy.

Speaker A:

This is the Ascension podcast.

Speaker A:

th in the year of our Lord:

Speaker B:

Something like Sir, Peace God.

Speaker A:

Peace sir.

Speaker A:

Happy Virgo season.

Speaker A:

Virgo season is the the next school year, next level.

Speaker A:

The leap up after we, our egos get recalibrated with Leo and we come into out of the fire of Leo, into the ground of the new level of Virgo.

Speaker B:

So, and it is hot.

Speaker A:

It's very hot outside, it's very hot internally, it's spicy.

Speaker A:

So that being said, let's open up and cool it down.

Speaker B:

Let's do it.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Malaki amiddin easinaq.

Speaker A:

O Allah, thank you for guiding us to yet another night on the microphones.

Speaker A:

Have a speak on the topics you would like us to speak upon.

Speaker A:

Have a speak on topics that will bring our people to where you want them to be.

Speaker A:

To bring them to the light, to bring them to the truth, and to bring them to the kingdom.

Speaker A:

Give us the power to steward our people there, to keep our egos in check, to remain humble in service of you alone.

Speaker A:

Guide our mindsets, guide our prose, guide our attitudes as we live and serve you.

Speaker A:

Amin.

Speaker A:

I mean, yeah, that prayer was.

Speaker A:

No, it was for me, bro.

Speaker A:

We had a thorough, thorough, solid conversation to today.

Speaker A:

But you gave me wise and esteemed counsel and before we turn on the mic, you said the concept of feeling to need to prove ourselves and what that means and how that reflects in our behavior.

Speaker A:

And I wanted to give you my perspective.

Speaker A:

I think you know it.

Speaker A:

But growing up in all near all white environments, being a light skinned black man, but still a black man into what people fail to realize is, you know, I may be light skinned but in that world I'm a black man.

Speaker A:

So in that environment where you're always being quote unquote set checked about not fitting in with the white norm and not being good enough for anything and people not really wanting you there, you get, you know, that chip on your shoulder and that evolves into an attitude where you always feel that, that you got to prove your worth to whoever you're around and that Evolves into feelings of insecurity.

Speaker A:

And as you get older, as you get more aggressive, you.

Speaker A:

It.

Speaker A:

It turns into armor.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

And ultimately, you know, not just, you know, how people perceive you, that armor, internalize it.

Speaker A:

And you walk around, myself included, I mean, as a shell.

Speaker A:

As like just a hardened shell and just like ready for whatever comes next.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker B:

But that's like.

Speaker B:

It's like.

Speaker B:

That's the.

Speaker B:

The issue of being born in the world the way it is right now.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

We.

Speaker B:

We are challenged as the protagonists of our story by everyone around us being antagonists to our story.

Speaker B:

And we have to decide that we're not going to become antagonists.

Speaker B:

Anybody else's story.

Speaker A:

No, that's the trap.

Speaker B:

That's the trap.

Speaker A:

That is the trap.

Speaker B:

Once you start becoming an antagonist to other people's story, you're creating evil into the world.

Speaker B:

I mean, it's literally the difference between God and the devil, which is God is the protagonist of the story.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

The devil is the antagonist of the story.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And it's like God just wants to be God and create.

Speaker A:

That's real.

Speaker B:

That like, the devil is like.

Speaker B:

No, I don't like what you're creating.

Speaker A:

But there's no story without the devil.

Speaker B:

There's no story without the antagonist.

Speaker A:

That's real.

Speaker B:

But do you want to be the antagonist?

Speaker B:

No, I'm not mad at the antagonist.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

He's got to do his thing.

Speaker B:

No, I just don't want to be the antagonist.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

In anybody's story.

Speaker B:

I want to be the protagonist in my story.

Speaker B:

That's what I'm concerned with.

Speaker B:

That is my focus and that I feel you.

Speaker B:

And it's not even from a perspective of ego.

Speaker B:

It's not like the protagonist of the story has to be like the greatest or the strongest or the best or the fastest, the smartest.

Speaker B:

No, the protagonist is just living.

Speaker B:

That's what the story is about, what he's doing.

Speaker B:

But it's not.

Speaker B:

He's not necessarily the one telling the story.

Speaker B:

He's just living.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

You know, and so, like, as the protagonist of the story, I'm minding my business.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Actively minding, though.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

You know, and so, like, there will always be antagonists to come at me.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

That's life.

Speaker B:

That's what makes a story an interesting story.

Speaker A:

Makes it a good.

Speaker A:

Makes it a good story.

Speaker B:

It's just I'm.

Speaker B:

I'm actively working towards not being the antagonist.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

And if I happen to antagonize, I have to be Humble enough to apologize.

Speaker B:

And I know that about myself.

Speaker A:

Boom.

Speaker B:

You know, once you.

Speaker B:

Once you understand who you are and you know yourself, then you can, like, guard yourself from all the evils of the world.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

It's not easy.

Speaker A:

No, sir.

Speaker B:

Because evil is always made fair.

Speaker B:

Seeing me.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Especially in the world we live in now.

Speaker A:

That's true.

Speaker B:

That's.

Speaker B:

That's the devil's job, is to continuously make evil fair seeming.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

All of the things.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

And you know, our work, you know, as foi.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Is to try to, like, expose the devil.

Speaker B:

Expose who the antagonist is.

Speaker A:

Without becoming him.

Speaker B:

Without becoming him.

Speaker A:

That's been my downfall.

Speaker B:

Because you can.

Speaker B:

You can easily, easily slip into that role.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

If you don't know who you are and you don't know who the devil is.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

You start thinking, oh, the devil is that person.

Speaker B:

And I recognize him then.

Speaker B:

Now you're an antagonist.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

You know you're antagonizing somebody else.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

Just be the protagonist now.

Speaker B:

That's it.

Speaker B:

Just live your life.

Speaker A:

That's it.

Speaker A:

But also realize by you focusing on being the protagonist, if you're doing.

Speaker A:

If your goals are big enough, you're going to be someone else's antagonist.

Speaker B:

Maybe.

Speaker B:

But you don't have to listen.

Speaker A:

Go ahead.

Speaker B:

If.

Speaker B:

If I'm minding my business, eating my food.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And somebody decides that they don't like the way that I'm eating, I can't help that.

Speaker B:

There are.

Speaker A:

Oh, I said I'm saying.

Speaker A:

Yeah, they've made you the antagonist.

Speaker A:

And I'm saying, like, just by having emotion in the univers.

Speaker B:

But I'm not concerned with no.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I can't concern myself with.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

Who the antagonist is.

Speaker A:

No, no, no, no, no.

Speaker B:

Like, if.

Speaker B:

Whether they made me the antagonist, if I'm doing something to offend you, I apologize, but I'm going to continue to eat my food.

Speaker B:

I don't mean to antagonize you.

Speaker B:

Yeah, but my existence might antagonize.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

It's part of life.

Speaker B:

Like a child doesn't want to clean its room, so their parent becomes the antagonist.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

But the house must be cleaned.

Speaker B:

You can't live in filth.

Speaker B:

So the parent has to say, clean your room.

Speaker A:

It's got to be clean.

Speaker B:

And the parent is not being an antagonist.

Speaker B:

The parent is living the protagonist's life from his viewpoint.

Speaker B:

From his viewpoint.

Speaker A:

The children.

Speaker A:

From the children view at that moment, the daddy is going to be the antagonist.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

But what can you.

Speaker A:

Like, that's what it is.

Speaker B:

Got to live your life.

Speaker A:

You got to live.

Speaker A:

You got to.

Speaker A:

You got to live your life.

Speaker B:

I'm sorry, son, but you got to clean your room.

Speaker A:

Got it.

Speaker A:

It's time.

Speaker B:

I know you're having a good time playing with your Legos, but it's dinner time, and.

Speaker B:

And your Legos have to get cleaned before you're able to.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker A:

It's time to clean your room.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

That's life.

Speaker A:

That is life.

Speaker A:

That's life.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And, you know, before telling others to clean their room, you gotta clean.

Speaker A:

I'm glad you said that, because I've been having dreams about literally cleaning my room.

Speaker A:

Like, literally just a lot uprooting from me, from my comfort zone and making me go into another space, and it's just nothing but cleaning products and my mom.

Speaker A:

So I'm like, okay, no, no, no.

Speaker A:

Allah's making me do another deep dive inside and be like, okay, well, you know, you.

Speaker A:

You've said you were a protagonist, and you present this Persona protagonism, but how much antagonism have you just subconsciously put out there because you have a itch.

Speaker B:

So, so.

Speaker B:

So God and the devil exist in all of us.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker B:

It's like I. I have to walk around and choose to see the God in everyone.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

That's a choice.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

So I, like, sometimes I don't see it, but I'm gonna still call you God because I want to see it.

Speaker B:

And I'm gonna.

Speaker B:

I'm gonna hope for the best in you, you know, So I. I walk around trying to call everybody God.

Speaker B:

I might slip up and forget, you.

Speaker A:

Know, but it's a good practice.

Speaker B:

But that's God.

Speaker B:

I see God.

Speaker B:

I see God in you.

Speaker B:

Because the other choice is now I gotta see the devil in you and become your antagonist.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

No, you know, it's not a fun game.

Speaker B:

No, I don't want to see the devil in anybody.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

I want to see God in everybody.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker A:

And if you view them as God, no matter who it is, you're not going to pull out the antagonism within yourself to try to prove.

Speaker A:

To prove a point to you.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker B:

And let's be clear.

Speaker B:

I don't mean my God.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I mean, you're your God, but I see the best parts of you and you.

Speaker B:

I'm settling on those parts.

Speaker B:

I'm.

Speaker B:

I'm choosing to, like, magnify what I like about you at all times.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You know, I'm not gonna settle on the fact that you do this thing, that thing or this thing that annoys me.

Speaker B:

Because I want to see God in you.

Speaker B:

I want to see the best version of you.

Speaker B:

I don't.

Speaker B:

I don't mean that I'm seeing you as the creator of the heavens and the earth.

Speaker B:

That's ridiculous.

Speaker B:

Yeah, but I see what created the heavens and the earth.

Speaker B:

They put that little bit of inspiration, that breath into you to allow you to live.

Speaker B:

That's what I'm focusing on.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

You know.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You gave a game earlier today when you.

Speaker A:

You called out, like, the subtle, specific things that you see me do.

Speaker A:

That, that show me, that are.

Speaker A:

That are letting me know that I still got it in me to, like, want to antagonize others.

Speaker A:

And what I told you is what the what?

Speaker A:

When we antagonize, we want to create an effect that's like the whole purpose.

Speaker B:

It's like, because we're feeling an effect.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker B:

And.

Speaker B:

And where does that end it?

Speaker A:

Destruction.

Speaker B:

If I'm feeling an effect.

Speaker B:

So I want to create an effect in you so that you can feel a little bit of my pain.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

Now you're feeling an effect and you want to make me feel a little bit.

Speaker B:

So it got to stop.

Speaker B:

Something.

Speaker A:

It's got to stop.

Speaker B:

And if you are the one to stop it, you control the situation.

Speaker A:

Facts, facts, bro.

Speaker B:

You become the God of the situation.

Speaker A:

Real talk.

Speaker B:

Or you could be the devil of the situation.

Speaker B:

And devils love chaos.

Speaker A:

Yes, they do.

Speaker B:

They thrive.

Speaker A:

Yes, Yes, I do.

Speaker A:

Yes, we do.

Speaker A:

You know, bro, I. Yeah, I.

Speaker B:

It's much harder to be the God in the situation.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker A:

It's almost impossible in this world.

Speaker B:

And I would say I agree with you, but I can't agree with you because philosophically, that's my aim.

Speaker B:

So it's not impossible.

Speaker B:

You have to do it.

Speaker A:

No, it's just.

Speaker A:

No real talk.

Speaker A:

Yeah, no, we have to have.

Speaker B:

If you start thinking like it's impossible,.

Speaker A:

Then it's not going to happen.

Speaker B:

Exactly.

Speaker A:

You're.

Speaker A:

And then you're just going to default to old habits of attack.

Speaker A:

It is because you've already made an agreement with the universe that it's impossible.

Speaker A:

So therefore, oh, I could just keep mess.

Speaker A:

I could keep Pokemon poking buttons.

Speaker B:

I keep saying, like, this is the crossing lines.

Speaker B:

I say this is the devil's world all the time.

Speaker B:

But I say that knowing full well that the devil did not create it.

Speaker B:

He antagonizes to the point where he.

Speaker B:

He's the one making everybody Scream.

Speaker B:

He's the one that's making everybody like, he's controlling the.

Speaker B:

The.

Speaker B:

The day to day right now.

Speaker A:

He's the master antagonist.

Speaker B:

Yes.

Speaker A:

That's how he keeps everyone stimulated and under control.

Speaker B:

But the book is not about him.

Speaker B:

Yeah, none of the story is about him.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

He's just that dude in the story of God.

Speaker B:

And respectfully, all of us are dudes in God's story.

Speaker A:

Oh, man.

Speaker A:

Like you.

Speaker A:

I like how we're getting specific with, like.

Speaker A:

Like, diagnosing, like, the quote unquote devil within.

Speaker A:

But I know it's working because I feel uncomfortable, and I feel like we're shining a spotlight on that part of ourselves, that part of myself.

Speaker A:

I'm like, okay, all right.

Speaker A:

Now, Adam, like, you know how you get down, bro.

Speaker B:

This is a parasite cleanse.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Real talk.

Speaker A:

No, for real.

Speaker B:

And when you do a parasite cleanse, you drink something nasty.

Speaker B:

And the parasites.

Speaker B:

What the.

Speaker B:

That's disgusting.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I don't want that in here.

Speaker B:

Give me some more sugar.

Speaker A:

They don't like it.

Speaker B:

No, I.

Speaker A:

Okay, you.

Speaker A:

I just realized that, like, you know, you are, like, part of the parasite cleanse.

Speaker A:

Like, I've been doing it for.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker A:

It's been a month now.

Speaker A:

Like, actually, no.

Speaker A:

A month tomorrow, when I did doing it, and I'm like, oh, man.

Speaker A:

It's not parasites.

Speaker A:

It manifests and you're thinking, and it.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker A:

It.

Speaker A:

It becomes part of who you are.

Speaker B:

It's never been physical, man.

Speaker B:

It's just like, if you real.

Speaker B:

If you want to quantify it, the majority of is spiritual.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

A portion of it is mental.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

Smallest part is physical.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

Just like all things.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker A:

And I. I mean, I. I knew that in theory, but now that you're calling and I'm realizing I'm dealing with this spiritual cleanup of this quote, unquote parasite cleanse.

Speaker A:

Because this all.

Speaker A:

It covers all of it.

Speaker A:

But now it's like, I'm dealing with the spiritual side, and I'm like, oh, man.

Speaker B:

And the beautiful thing is if you change what you're doing physically.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And change what you're doing mentally, spiritually falls into place.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

So you just gotta, like, find two that you're good at, and the third will fall into place.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

So, you know, you're doing the physical.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker B:

And you're.

Speaker B:

You're.

Speaker B:

You're.

Speaker B:

You have to think about what you're eating.

Speaker B:

You're consciously making an effort not to do things that will feed the parasite.

Speaker B:

You're starving them.

Speaker B:

Out.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

That's the mental.

Speaker B:

The mind game.

Speaker B:

Spiritual falls into place.

Speaker A:

It's falling.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker A:

What I'm feeling is at the.

Speaker A:

This, the end of the first month is a spirit falling into place.

Speaker A:

And it feels.

Speaker A:

Ah, no wonder I feel un.

Speaker A:

I feel uncomfortable.

Speaker A:

And it's.

Speaker A:

Allah's using you to, like, be a part of that process.

Speaker A:

To like.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Nah, bro, now you see.

Speaker A:

Okay, keep going.

Speaker A:

Don't quit now because you don't like it.

Speaker A:

But I. I'm thinking of your role in this process.

Speaker A:

The dreams I've been having about just really cleaning up shop, and I didn't.

Speaker A:

I'm just now putting together, like, those dreams.

Speaker A:

Yeah, bro.

Speaker A:

It's the parasites.

Speaker A:

It's the process of the parasite cleanser.

Speaker A:

What that represents in the universe.

Speaker A:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

But now and then you coming in, I'm like, oh, Allah.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Allah's really.

Speaker A:

He's really cleaning me up.

Speaker A:

And now I'm like, I see my parasites.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Oh, that's why I do that.

Speaker A:

That's why I really view how I.

Speaker A:

How I, like, I become a mass.

Speaker A:

I'm a master at like, like, sharp critique, like, getting people like, oh, I got him.

Speaker A:

I got him.

Speaker A:

Like, right before this podcast, I got you by not telling.

Speaker A:

You didn't get me.

Speaker B:

I saw something was happening.

Speaker B:

I prepared myself.

Speaker B:

I didn't jump.

Speaker B:

I didn't scream.

Speaker B:

Okay, that's what's happening.

Speaker A:

But I want you to understand, like, I really was like, I saw.

Speaker A:

I saw how loud it was going to be before we plugged in the microphone, and I consciously thought to take mine off.

Speaker A:

And I looked at you.

Speaker A:

I was like, crank that.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

It's like, you know, like, at a Looney Tunes with, like, the tnt and it's like, I'm going to get.

Speaker A:

That was me, bro.

Speaker A:

Blow him up.

Speaker A:

I'm savage, bro.

Speaker B:

Savage.

Speaker B:

You got some work to do.

Speaker A:

I got some work.

Speaker A:

And even, like, thinking about it, like, I'm still getting, like, giddy of, like, viewing the entire trajectory of just the joy of seeing that.

Speaker A:

And, like, you.

Speaker B:

And it's like, yeah, you became the antagonist to my story for quite.

Speaker A:

Absolutely, absolutely.

Speaker B:

But I'm fine.

Speaker A:

Yeah, it's just straight villain.

Speaker A:

But we.

Speaker A:

We were.

Speaker A:

We could.

Speaker B:

I.

Speaker A:

And when I.

Speaker A:

What?

Speaker A:

I've often wanted to fly because I've always had this.

Speaker A:

You hear that?

Speaker B:

That beep?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

What is that?

Speaker A:

I don't know, bro.

Speaker A:

Okay, I think we're back.

Speaker A:

Yeah, we're good.

Speaker B:

No, we.

Speaker B:

We're all a work in progress.

Speaker B:

And we have to continually work on ourselves because being the antagonist is.

Speaker B:

It's an exciting part of the story, but it doesn't lead to great ends.

Speaker A:

No, it doesn't.

Speaker A:

And I.

Speaker A:

When you.

Speaker A:

For some reason, when you said is exciting part, I was viewing Bane.

Speaker A:

Bane wanted to prove a point.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker B:

Mm.

Speaker A:

That was it.

Speaker A:

He's like, okay, well, I want to prove that we're all savages.

Speaker A:

I'm gonna show you guys and teach you a lesson.

Speaker A:

But the end of the day, you're still using the means of antagonism to prove something to yourself so that you ultimately can show your power and be right.

Speaker A:

You get what I'm saying?

Speaker A:

Mm.

Speaker A:

So I think I've.

Speaker A:

I've.

Speaker A:

I'm not gonna say glorified, but definitely leaned into that role because it allowed me the illusion of power.

Speaker B:

I could see that.

Speaker A:

You get what I'm saying?

Speaker A:

It's like, okay, well, if I.

Speaker A:

If I can prove to myself that I can create effects upon others and make them do whatever.

Speaker A:

Affect them, bother them, make them even.

Speaker A:

Make them laugh, make the people, make them hurt, it's like, okay, I know.

Speaker A:

I. I have power.

Speaker A:

And the reason why we do stuff like that, to feel the need to execute tasks or things, to feel powers, because there's something lacking within.

Speaker B:

We don't know who we are.

Speaker A:

There we go.

Speaker B:

We have a lack of knowledge.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Of self.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Knowledge of self teaches you that.

Speaker B:

You're the protagonist.

Speaker B:

This story's about you.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

So we both know who we are.

Speaker A:

So even after knowledge, why do we.

Speaker A:

Why do we still do that?

Speaker B:

Because within us is God and the devil.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And mastery over one is the.

Speaker B:

The solution.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You just got to choose which one you want to master.

Speaker A:

That's real, bro.

Speaker B:

Some people want to master the devil himself.

Speaker B:

They want to go as far down the rabbit hole is devilology can take them.

Speaker B:

Demonology.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

Real talk, bro.

Speaker B:

And some people are like capitalism.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You know, some people are like, all that this world has to offer.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

It's making me uncomfortable.

Speaker A:

You said.

Speaker A:

Because I've been all those characters.

Speaker A:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker B:

We are.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And it's.

Speaker B:

You're not gonna come out of this thing unscathed.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

You.

Speaker B:

You gotta experience what this world is in order to be able to master self.

Speaker B:

That's a part of it.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

You can't just be oblivious to the way things are and just.

Speaker B:

And then come out of here unscathed.

Speaker B:

Like, that doesn't happen.

Speaker A:

Oh.

Speaker A:

To be honest, I think that's the Whole purpose of this journey on earth is to bring out the.

Speaker A:

The mo.

Speaker A:

Bring out the most within you, to work.

Speaker A:

To work on self.

Speaker A:

Because this is.

Speaker B:

I.

Speaker B:

So I fight with that because I think, like, I think that's the purpose of this thing for some people.

Speaker A:

Go on.

Speaker B:

I think ultimately the purpose of this thing is just the experience.

Speaker A:

I feel it.

Speaker B:

You know, not everybody's going to have the experience of bringing out the best version of themselves.

Speaker B:

Some people are going to have the experience of bringing out the worst version of themselves.

Speaker B:

And they don't.

Speaker B:

Like Hitler, don't.

Speaker B:

I don't think he knew he was becoming Hitler.

Speaker B:

You know, like at some point he realized, damn, that's who I am.

Speaker B:

But on his way up, he probably thought he was doing the right thing.

Speaker A:

Of course.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

Without a shadow of a doubt.

Speaker A:

You don't have.

Speaker A:

You don't amass that type of power and influence and not think you're right.

Speaker A:

You kidding me?

Speaker B:

I mean, I.

Speaker A:

Everyone.

Speaker B:

I struggle with that too.

Speaker A:

Everybody thinks they're right.

Speaker B:

Even the devil?

Speaker A:

Yes, especially.

Speaker A:

Especially the devil.

Speaker A:

What do you mean?

Speaker B:

I think he thinks that he's right at being wrong.

Speaker B:

I think he understands that he's evil.

Speaker B:

Because here's the difference between.

Speaker B:

Here's the difference between the devil and.

Speaker A:

Or.

Speaker B:

Or Satan and the rest of us.

Speaker B:

Satan has a full and well knowledge of who God is.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

We have like.

Speaker B:

Like we've experienced God through lessons and through books and through, you know, living life and stuff like that.

Speaker B:

But the devil has actually experienced God.

Speaker B:

Like the devil knows he's real and chose to go against him.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

Like you're the creator of all things.

Speaker B:

Yeah, but I don't like what you're saying.

Speaker A:

Real talk, bro.

Speaker B:

You know?

Speaker A:

No, and so like, that's.

Speaker A:

That is like the devil is divine.

Speaker A:

Rebellion.

Speaker B:

To know.

Speaker A:

To know that who the creators and know that God is like the truth and still be like, no, I'm not with that.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I'm still going to rebel.

Speaker A:

I still think I could outdo you.

Speaker A:

Or I think.

Speaker A:

I think my system is better than your system.

Speaker A:

You feel me?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And I think that's what Devil is.

Speaker B:

Is just.

Speaker B:

Is simply going against God.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You know, facts.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Real talk.

Speaker B:

It's like the ultimate antagonist.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

You know,.

Speaker A:

I was listening.

Speaker B:

I don't think.

Speaker B:

To clarify, I don't think the devil thinks that he's righteous.

Speaker B:

He thinks he's right.

Speaker B:

He don't think he's righteous.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

He's trying to be the antagonist.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker B:

He realizes that he can't be the protagonist of the book.

Speaker B:

Because God is.

Speaker A:

Bro.

Speaker B:

He's like, but I'm gonna get on the pages.

Speaker A:

So you're talking.

Speaker A:

It sounds like you're literally talking to me.

Speaker A:

I'm like, damn, am I the devil?

Speaker B:

Like, real talk, you have to decide.

Speaker B:

That's crazy.

Speaker A:

Real talk.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Like, because I can't decide that for you.

Speaker A:

I know.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And it's, do you want to be the protagonist or do you want to be the antagonist?

Speaker A:

You know, obviously I'm gonna.

Speaker A:

On the record, I want to be the protagonist.

Speaker A:

But I say that.

Speaker A:

But then I analyze how easy it is for me to antagonize you feel what I'm saying?

Speaker B:

It's seductive.

Speaker A:

It's very.

Speaker A:

But also with me, not just seductive, like second nature.

Speaker A:

And I'm like, damn, Adam, call yourself black man.

Speaker A:

As a guy.

Speaker A:

Say, you're like, you're godly, but you're this devil.

Speaker A:

This devil tendency is really natural for you, bro.

Speaker B:

It's just natural.

Speaker B:

It's a natural part of this world.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Who are you?

Speaker B:

To the degree that you believe this version of reality is real.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Is to the degree that you submit.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

To antagonism.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

To.

Speaker B:

This is the way things are.

Speaker B:

This is the way they will be.

Speaker A:

I would be on, like, this conversation and like, this week, like, this cleanse.

Speaker A:

I've been like.

Speaker A:

I've had the cognition of, like, man, am I okay?

Speaker A:

Am I the devil?

Speaker A:

Am I dragging on mean to hell?

Speaker A:

Huh?

Speaker A:

Interesting.

Speaker A:

Like, real, like that type of self.

Speaker B:

Reflection, bro, there is no way you could drag me to him.

Speaker A:

You know, I know that I am.

Speaker B:

The protagonist of my story.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

Nobody's dragging me anyway.

Speaker B:

If I go to hell, it's because I go to hell.

Speaker A:

But these are like the, you know, the.

Speaker A:

The thoughts I've been having, and it's not.

Speaker A:

I think it's a beautiful thing that could really be wrestling.

Speaker A:

But then you.

Speaker A:

You've said it already.

Speaker A:

It's like, yeah, we're really the full totality of Allah and the full totality of the devil within one body, within God body, you know, Because God is the full totality of and everything.

Speaker B:

I'm the reason why nobody can drag me to hell because I'm humble enough that if I see I'm going in the wrong direction, I can apologize and make atonement.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I don't.

Speaker B:

I don't, like, have to double down on my ignorance.

Speaker B:

I've learned to, like, I don't have no ego in this.

Speaker B:

All praise is due to Allah.

Speaker A:

That's Real, bro.

Speaker B:

It's not for me.

Speaker B:

None of it.

Speaker A:

That's real.

Speaker B:

That's what the difference is.

Speaker A:

That's the difference.

Speaker A:

It's like, yeah.

Speaker A:

To be able to stop yourself on the route of devilishment and antagonism, being like, you know what?

Speaker A:

We're all flawed.

Speaker B:

We all capable of making mistakes.

Speaker A:

My bad.

Speaker A:

I was being a.

Speaker B:

And I didn't see it.

Speaker A:

My judgment was clouded, and I did it because it felt good.

Speaker A:

And I'm sorry for hurting you.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I'm going to work better on myself.

Speaker A:

That.

Speaker A:

And I'm saying I'm.

Speaker A:

I'm.

Speaker A:

I'm saying that out loud because I'm like, damn, Adam, when was the last time you said that?

Speaker A:

You feel me?

Speaker A:

Or have you just been going on poking buttons.

Speaker B:

Mm.

Speaker A:

Walking around with your chest like.

Speaker A:

I'm like, okay, all right.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

Not so Mr. Clean after all, you know?

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker B:

We all got our hands dirty.

Speaker A:

We all have got our hands dirty.

Speaker B:

And the only thing that you can do is try your best to keep them clean.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

But we.

Speaker B:

We are working in an active kitchen.

Speaker B:

We got to keep cooking.

Speaker B:

We got messes everywhere.

Speaker B:

We got to clean up.

Speaker B:

Like, clean as you go.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

And this podcast is the clean as you go show.

Speaker A:

And we're shining.

Speaker A:

Shining a light on our own selves to be like, okay, we've done a lot of work in material universe.

Speaker A:

Now let's come.

Speaker A:

This podcast has come to God level.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Let's.

Speaker A:

Let's do the play by play spiritually.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

What's.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Now what's really going on?

Speaker A:

Oh, wow.

Speaker B:

Ascension.

Speaker B:

The lift of God.

Speaker B:

That means that God is below.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And he needs to be raised.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

It doesn't mean that we think that we're gods.

Speaker A:

Not.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

It's.

Speaker B:

It's that we understand we're in the muck and mire and we're elevating ourselves.

Speaker A:

Climbing up out of that.

Speaker B:

Cleaning off the mud.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Dusting off our shoulders, and working towards being the best versions of ourselves.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker A:

And anyone listening to this should just know that, like, we.

Speaker A:

We.

Speaker A:

You know, there's trials and tribulations in the physical universe that you and I, like, we.

Speaker A:

We deal with on the daily.

Speaker A:

But we come to this podcast to view what's going on from the.

Speaker A:

I think, really the viewpoint of Allah.

Speaker A:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker A:

And what.

Speaker B:

What we assume is the viewpoint.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

What we assume.

Speaker A:

And it gives us more of a.

Speaker A:

Of a bird's eye view, so we could assess our behavior objectively and Be like, oh, oh, oh.

Speaker A:

You know, there are no goodbye good guys and bad guys.

Speaker A:

There's just protagonists.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And stories.

Speaker A:

No stories and protagonists.

Speaker A:

And everyone, everyone is the, in their mind, at least the protagonist in their own story.

Speaker B:

No, they are, they absolutely are not just in their mind.

Speaker B:

Everyone is the protagonist of their story.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

You know, and hopefully our stories can co. Align and I mean co. Coexist.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And I think it's our job to create the, that mosaic of the stories into one there.

Speaker A:

Into one.

Speaker A:

Put that on the trajection towards, you know, the shared vision that you and.

Speaker B:

I. I wouldn't say it's our job, I would say it's our goal.

Speaker A:

I think that's what we're reaching for.

Speaker B:

That's what we want.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

Like, that's God.

Speaker B:

God is the only one who can actually ultimately see all of the goals.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And, and, and if they're aligned, they're aligned.

Speaker B:

Like we want them to be aligned.

Speaker B:

But God is the best of knowers.

Speaker B:

He decides ultimately.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

You know, we just got to continue to work towards.

Speaker B:

Because like, this doesn't, this is just the beginning.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

This is not by any stretch of the imagination, like the end of this story.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

Like most of the people that become millionaires and billionaires in life, it's like in their 40s, 30, late 30s, 50s, bro.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

40S, 50s.

Speaker B:

We're just starting.

Speaker A:

We are just at the point where the minister realized he had to rebuild the nation.

Speaker A:

Not even, maybe not even at that point yet.

Speaker A:

Like coming up to that point, you feel me?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Like realizing.

Speaker A:

Oh, no, no, no.

Speaker A:

Like there's about to be.

Speaker A:

Oh, okay, the real work.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

This is just the playground for the real work.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And you and I, what makes us, you know, these conversations are powerful.

Speaker A:

Is like you and I both know the true, the real purpose of life is spiritual and eternal.

Speaker B:

And the majority of life is spiritual.

Speaker A:

I, you can make the argument that 100% of life is spiritual.

Speaker A:

We are spiritual beings.

Speaker B:

I, I, I say 99% is spiritual.

Speaker B:

Okay, go ahead and like.

Speaker B:

Well, I say 90% is spiritual.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Nine percent is, is mental.

Speaker B:

And then point.

Speaker B:

Real talk, you know, 0.9 is physical.

Speaker A:

Yes, I like that, you know, I like that assessment and I like the separation between spirit and mind.

Speaker A:

Because you could, I think the concept of the mind is not, you know, the eternal being, but the composite of all of what has happened to you.

Speaker A:

Like the, the snapshots of what has happened to you and that the, the lens through which you make your Decisions.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You know, like you're the stories that have, like the, the memories and the stories that have happened to you that you view in life through.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

In this life.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

Because if you could see the spirit, you would know that it reaches out eternally.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

And touches every other spirit.

Speaker B:

So where do they really stop?

Speaker B:

And if you knew the age of the spirit, you would know it goes back to the beginning of time.

Speaker A:

76 Trillion years, bro.

Speaker B:

All of the spirits together make up God.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker A:

76 Trillion years.

Speaker B:

76 Trillion years.

Speaker B:

So if you could see the spirit, you would know it's 76 trillion years old.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

So the spirit is the majority of who we are.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

As individuals and as a collective.

Speaker A:

That's correct.

Speaker B:

The mental is very, very, very specific about us.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

And then the physical is absolute.

Speaker B:

It is, absolutely.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

It is.

Speaker A:

This, it's our stamp in this stamp.

Speaker A:

It's our stamp in time place.

Speaker A:

Literally.

Speaker A:

That's really.

Speaker A:

It's literally because physical, what makes physicality is the motion.

Speaker A:

You know, spiritual spirit is above motion and time.

Speaker A:

It's not.

Speaker A:

It's eternal.

Speaker A:

The body is physical.

Speaker A:

It is literally your stamp on this time.

Speaker B:

I'll be chipping off how the body isn't really even physical.

Speaker B:

It's just from our perspective, like what holds the body together are a bunch of different atoms being held together by a force.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

A spiritual force.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

You know, absolutely.

Speaker B:

It's energy.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

That's.

Speaker B:

That's making these like, photons and neutrons, like, work in comparison.

Speaker B:

I mean, in compatibly together.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

You know, we're, we're not one solid mass.

Speaker B:

That's just the way we appear.

Speaker A:

No, sir.

Speaker B:

You know, no.

Speaker B:

If you wanted to call us anything, a better description would be light.

Speaker A:

Yes, absolutely.

Speaker B:

You know, light reflecting.

Speaker A:

You know, I agree.

Speaker A:

I, I this podcast, you know, on the.

Speaker A:

We're on the spiritual plane, and we know the true purpose of life is spiritual.

Speaker A:

And this podcast reminds us that that is the case.

Speaker A:

And I'm, I guess, right now have this conversation.

Speaker A:

I'm viewing all of what we're going through, you know, what we go through in the physical universe as the, the gym through which you and I can come here and then recalibrate our spirits to learn those lessons, to reapply, to better go into.

Speaker A:

Back into the playground, into the gym.

Speaker A:

Spirit first.

Speaker A:

To reorganize matter and to bring even more order into it.

Speaker B:

You said gym.

Speaker B:

So the first thing I had to say, what's up?

Speaker B:

We're exercising our Demons.

Speaker A:

Oh, yeah, absolutely.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

You know.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

The only way you do it is through communication.

Speaker A:

That's it.

Speaker B:

You know,.

Speaker A:

Rail.

Speaker B:

With holy water.

Speaker A:

Yeah, man.

Speaker A:

But I. I'm taking.

Speaker A:

The concept of exercising demons and parasite cleanse is the same, bro.

Speaker A:

You're per.

Speaker A:

We're purging ourselves.

Speaker A:

It's the process, and it's.

Speaker A:

It's confusing because you've allowed these parasites to determine your habits, how you act.

Speaker B:

Yes.

Speaker A:

And your instincts and your impulses.

Speaker A:

So when all of those go, you're forced to ask yourself, oh, who am I?

Speaker B:

That's a deep question.

Speaker B:

And that's right.

Speaker A:

I, like, be honest, like, this last.

Speaker A:

Is this part of the cleanse?

Speaker A:

It's really bent.

Speaker A:

I've been unstable.

Speaker A:

Not like, in a.

Speaker A:

Like, an insane sort of sense, but it's kind of been like, okay, without.

Speaker B:

My demons, who am I?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Without my vices, without my.

Speaker B:

Yeah, who am I?

Speaker A:

Who am I?

Speaker A:

And then also what I'm starting to see is like, oh, man, I love my demons.

Speaker A:

As we saw earlier.

Speaker A:

That was just a subtle example, but that's how, like, the.

Speaker A:

The.

Speaker A:

The lust I had for that, seeing that reaction, you know, like, that.

Speaker A:

That's my relationship with my demons.

Speaker B:

I was.

Speaker A:

And those are the ones that are still there, because they're there because I love them, and I want to keep them around.

Speaker B:

I was reading this book called the the Artist Way.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And she was talking about how in order to get into her creative mode, she had to drink, and she would sit while she created.

Speaker B:

And it was like.

Speaker B:

Yeah, it was like part of her method was, you know, like, I'd go, give me something to drink, and I'd start writing.

Speaker B:

And it was like, this was my.

Speaker B:

For years.

Speaker B:

And then I was like, how can I write without drinking?

Speaker B:

Who am I without that?

Speaker B:

I couldn't even sit down to get into the creative process without the alcohol.

Speaker B:

But the alcohol wasn't really.

Speaker B:

Was causing the creativity.

Speaker B:

I just.

Speaker B:

I used it, and it was like.

Speaker B:

That was something that had a hold on me.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

It's just like the parasites.

Speaker B:

It's like, you know, you.

Speaker A:

You.

Speaker A:

You.

Speaker B:

You learn to lean on them.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So heavily.

Speaker B:

To dictate what you want to eat, how you want to be, what you want to do, what you want to think.

Speaker A:

Like.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

It became my identity.

Speaker B:

And then you carve away all of that.

Speaker B:

You get to see the real version that.

Speaker B:

And it's scary.

Speaker A:

It's scary, bro.

Speaker A:

Yeah, it's scary.

Speaker B:

You might not recognize that guy.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You know, and I. I feel like I'm I'm like getting like, the.

Speaker A:

The cleanse isn't over.

Speaker A:

I'm not going to stop because I feel like I'm just now starting to like, get the.

Speaker A:

That.

Speaker A:

The.

Speaker A:

The.

Speaker A:

The mud out of my eyes to see who I really am.

Speaker B:

And it was part of my journey.

Speaker B:

When we did the pandemic and I did that 40 day fast, what was the fast specific?

Speaker A:

Like, what did you not eat?

Speaker A:

What did you eat?

Speaker B:

So I did Ramadan for 30 days and then I did juice fast for the next 10 days and, like got you coming off of that.

Speaker A:

So you.

Speaker A:

It was during, Rob, because the pandemic was during Ramadan.

Speaker B:

There was like a year.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You know, so like.

Speaker B:

Yeah, dude, Ramadan had landed during that.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And it was just like the:

Speaker A:

One of the first.

Speaker A:

The first Ramadan during that pandemic.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker B:

And it was like.

Speaker A:

Just.

Speaker B:

Just learning to understand who I am without.

Speaker B:

Because at work I was wilding.

Speaker B:

I had started hanging out with friends at work, going out drinking and smoking.

Speaker B:

And it was like so many things changed during the pandemic.

Speaker A:

I missed that on me.

Speaker A:

I never.

Speaker A:

I never saw that on me.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And like, so when you caught me and I had the full dreads, the full beard, this was like.

Speaker B:

You caught me at coming out of wild.

Speaker A:

No, that was 20, 21.

Speaker A:

And Jim Jamiah's farm with you, your brother and his wife.

Speaker A:

Do you remember that?

Speaker A:

That's when I first.

Speaker A:

That's when I first met you.

Speaker B:

I didn't know that.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

The first time you went to.

Speaker B:

The time I met you was in Leimert Park.

Speaker A:

Do you remember what I'm talking about?

Speaker B:

I do remember being at Jemai's farm for the first time.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And you met Timu, too.

Speaker A:

You and your brother, Jamiah.

Speaker A:

Timu.

Speaker A:

You guys remember doing most talking.

Speaker A:

I was out, like, doing garden work.

Speaker B:

But yeah, I don't see.

Speaker B:

I don't have no recollection of seeing you there whatsoever.

Speaker A:

Do you remember me?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You remember Timothy?

Speaker B:

No, I don't.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker B:

First time I saw Tamu was much later.

Speaker B:

You introduced me to Tamu later.

Speaker A:

Do you remember that day being in.

Speaker A:

At Jamaica?

Speaker B:

I do remember the day.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker B:

I do remember meeting Jamaya.

Speaker B:

I was very impressed with what y' all was doing.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

But I didn't shout out to Jamiah because we met, man.

Speaker A:

We met because of what he built.

Speaker B:

I didn't even know that y' all were a part of what he did till, like I would say recently, wow.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I remember you talking about working.

Speaker A:

For Jamaica five years ago.

Speaker A:

That's crazy.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Five years ago.

Speaker A:

Yeah, 20.

Speaker A:

21.

Speaker A:

Like, more than five years ago.

Speaker B:

Yeah, man.

Speaker A:

It's been a journey.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Anyway, continue.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Because you're talking about where you were as far as how ratchet you were at that time.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So, yeah, just smoking, drinking, just at that time.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Well, not when I.

Speaker B:

Not.

Speaker B:

Not.

Speaker B:

This is before the pandemic.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Before the pandemic.

Speaker B:

Yes.

Speaker B:

Just like, full down the rabbit hole as I've.

Speaker B:

I've got.

Speaker B:

I've gone justifying all of my.

Speaker B:

And you know, during the pandemic, where I had a chance to, like, stop, assess, realize, like.

Speaker B:

Like, what emboldened me to start was the idea that everybody around me was taking these jabs and I knew not to take them.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I was like, I'm not like that.

Speaker B:

I'm not a follower.

Speaker B:

Why am I following?

Speaker B:

Like, yeah, alcohol is fun, but I am.

Speaker B:

I'm fun.

Speaker B:

Like, I like myself without any of that.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

And, you know, I had to clear back all of those layers, and it allowed me to, like, to meditate and to.

Speaker B:

To pray more and to, like, get in touch with all of the different versions of myself since I was a child.

Speaker B:

Like, all as far back as I could remember.

Speaker B:

I could recall my desires and my.

Speaker B:

My dreams and the things that I wanted.

Speaker B:

And it's like I started painting, I started writing poetry again.

Speaker B:

Like, I just started getting into my creative bag.

Speaker B:

Like, that's when I started farming, growing food, and just, like, enjoying me.

Speaker B:

And it was probably the best year of my life, if I'm honest.

Speaker B:

And, you know, why would I go back to anything less than that?

Speaker A:

Good question.

Speaker B:

You know, once you start to.

Speaker B:

To understand who you are, once you.

Speaker B:

You've done some.

Speaker B:

Some clearing out of that baggage, you don't want to go back to that.

Speaker B:

It's like looking at your parasite and willingly swallowing it.

Speaker A:

It's gross.

Speaker A:

No, that's really.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You know.

Speaker A:

Oh, man.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker B:

And so now, like, I could say that, like, before that before, when I was going down the rabbit hole, there were years that I have gone without smoking or drinking anything.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

But I was always tempted.

Speaker B:

There was always a point where, like, man, if somebody offered me something, hey.

Speaker B:

And that's how I got started.

Speaker B:

Like, you know, I went to the bar, I was like, I'm just gonna give me some food with the friends.

Speaker B:

He was like, nah, you gotta drink something.

Speaker B:

You just relax.

Speaker B:

Where it's off of work, it's like, try this.

Speaker B:

This is the most delicious thing.

Speaker B:

I got addicted to Moscow Mules, and then I found out that there were different types of mules.

Speaker B:

You got a Spanish mule with panda juice.

Speaker A:

Drinking.

Speaker A:

Yeah, drinking.

Speaker A:

Drinking, drinking.

Speaker A:

That game, man.

Speaker B:

They offer you drinks to bring you into their madness.

Speaker B:

Yes.

Speaker B:

Everybody does.

Speaker A:

Everybody does.

Speaker B:

And it just.

Speaker B:

It just takes you farther and farther down the rabbit hole.

Speaker A:

When you said Boscomio, I was like, oh, man, that one's kind of good.

Speaker A:

That's like, the ginger one.

Speaker A:

Oh, it's got ginger.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

That's a good one.

Speaker B:

When he first offered me a Moscow Mule.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker B:

What's that?

Speaker B:

And then they said ginger.

Speaker B:

Ginger beer.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I was like, I'm sold.

Speaker B:

Then he starts talking about lime.

Speaker B:

What?

Speaker B:

Where has this been all my life?

Speaker A:

Yeah, man.

Speaker B:

You know?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And I get it.

Speaker A:

That's a good.

Speaker A:

That was a good drink.

Speaker B:

And I ended up creating ginger tea.

Speaker A:

There we go.

Speaker B:

I was like, this is what I wanted anyway, is the ginger and the pineapple.

Speaker A:

That's it.

Speaker B:

It's delicious.

Speaker A:

Let's.

Speaker A:

Let's stick with that.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Put a little cayenne pepper in there for a kick.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Pick it up at the store.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

No Moscow Mules.

Speaker B:

No Moscow.

Speaker A:

No Moscow Mules.

Speaker B:

But if you want to put a little tequila in it.

Speaker B:

I'm not mad at you.

Speaker B:

It's just not my thing.

Speaker A:

But I like how we just.

Speaker A:

Us talking about it makes you realize, you know, we're not near that temptation right now.

Speaker A:

But just we know how.

Speaker A:

How easy it is to go there, though, because we.

Speaker A:

You and I, just vision Moscow.

Speaker A:

Like, oh, those are good.

Speaker A:

I love that taste.

Speaker A:

And we start tasting it right now,.

Speaker B:

And then by no means.

Speaker B:

By means that I am clean.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I'm working on myself.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Work in progress.

Speaker B:

There's still a lot of things I got to work on, and I can admit that to myself.

Speaker B:

I just continue to work.

Speaker A:

But I like.

Speaker A:

I like the fact that we're able to, you know, look at even, like, the temptation right now.

Speaker A:

You and I both like.

Speaker A:

Oh, yeah, those actually are good drinks.

Speaker A:

But not get caught up in the.

Speaker A:

And I think that's where discipline comes in, is when you could have those.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

That would be nice.

Speaker A:

And then not actually go try to pursue it or spend all day thinking about how delicious.

Speaker A:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker B:

I'm gonna be honest with you.

Speaker B:

I could see.

Speaker B:

See a version of myself that could slip back into that.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

And that version of myself is a version that doesn't have aim and purpose.

Speaker B:

You know, I think a huge Part of the journey of becoming the God of the universe that you inhabit.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Is understanding what you want to do with the time that you have, you know, and.

Speaker B:

And what fulfills me, what makes me feel whole.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And complete.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Gives me purpose.

Speaker B:

Is the vision that I have for my future.

Speaker B:

You know, I want to be impactful.

Speaker B:

Not because of.

Speaker B:

Do I want to feed my ego, but I want to be impactful because I've been given a blessing of this life and I think that I could help other people be blessed.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

Now, I'm not gonna lie and say it doesn't feel good.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

It feels good.

Speaker B:

That's a blessing.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

That is the blessing.

Speaker B:

You know.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

If I'm able to accomplish that, it's a blessing.

Speaker B:

If I'm unable to accomplish that, I wasn't meant for me, but I'm still blessed.

Speaker B:

I enjoyed the feeling of.

Speaker B:

Of trying.

Speaker B:

Of working towards that goal.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And if it's in alignment with what God wants for me, then it'll happen.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

If it doesn't happen, then it wasn't in alignment.

Speaker B:

And I don't want anything that God don't want for me.

Speaker A:

No, sir.

Speaker B:

You know.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I.

Speaker A:

It's us having really just looked at the whole process and me seeing my journey right now, and I'm not.

Speaker A:

I don't.

Speaker A:

I'm not going to say I feel confused, but I kind of feel like there's a.

Speaker A:

Where, like the parasites were chirping, there's now like a Silence.

Speaker A:

More like a.

Speaker A:

It's a feeling of clarity.

Speaker A:

Clarity.

Speaker A:

Like a blank slate.

Speaker A:

And earlier today, we were talking about how myself as like a.

Speaker A:

Without having.

Speaker A:

Deal with all of my demons and trauma, just being a whirling spiral of tornado chaos.

Speaker A:

Because I'm just doing.

Speaker A:

No, doing.

Speaker A:

I gotta do this, gotta do that, gotta do that.

Speaker A:

Link up with another tornado and we're just swirling, swirling, swirling, swirling, swirling.

Speaker A:

And it's a collaborative swirl.

Speaker A:

And the metaphor I gave was, you know, eventually you saw so much, you just get thrown out of your own orbit and you're forced to just really look at, like, what has happened.

Speaker B:

Don't fear the clarity, though.

Speaker A:

Yeah, not at all.

Speaker B:

Use the clarity.

Speaker B:

That's what allows you to be the version of yourself that you want to be.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

You're starting with a blank sheet of paper.

Speaker B:

You get to draw yourself.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker A:

There we go.

Speaker B:

The best version of yourself.

Speaker A:

There we go.

Speaker B:

What is your aim and purpose?

Speaker B:

Not.

Speaker B:

Not for now, but for eternity, man.

Speaker B:

What do you want to think back on that life and say you were able to accomplish and you enjoy doing it and like, proud of that version of yourself.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Then do that.

Speaker A:

Here's what's dying.

Speaker A:

Thank you for saying that.

Speaker A:

Is.

Speaker A:

I've officially, like, I'm not.

Speaker A:

I'm outside of that tornado.

Speaker A:

What is dying is all of those parasites that are just propelling me to keep creating chaos.

Speaker A:

You get what I'm saying?

Speaker A:

It's like all that effort and emotion, you know, that from.

Speaker A:

From all the way.

Speaker A:

I've been doing it for trillions of years.

Speaker A:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker A:

Like all of those parasitic cycles, thoughts, circuits that have been running like.

Speaker A:

I'm not.

Speaker A:

I'm not.

Speaker A:

I'm not going to say I'm victim to them anymore, but I feel them still.

Speaker A:

Them slowly dying out and.

Speaker A:

But still trying to propel me to go down that.

Speaker A:

And I'm like, wait, no, no, no, no, no, I'm not doing that.

Speaker B:

Parasites don't want to die.

Speaker A:

Not at all.

Speaker A:

And that's.

Speaker A:

That's.

Speaker A:

There we go.

Speaker A:

That's what.

Speaker B:

It's.

Speaker B:

Die fighting for their life.

Speaker A:

And that's.

Speaker A:

It's crazy that it's happening physically, but also the same extent, spiritually at the same time.

Speaker A:

And I.

Speaker A:

That's reality.

Speaker A:

There's no sep.

Speaker A:

There's no separation.

Speaker A:

It's all.

Speaker A:

It's all the same.

Speaker A:

It's all oneness.

Speaker A:

So it's.

Speaker B:

It's a pathway.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And it's like one step in front of the other.

Speaker B:

Stagnation is death.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker A:

So we take a look at what we're going on internally.

Speaker A:

We can make another example of what we're dealing with.

Speaker A:

With.

Speaker A:

Our current project right now is like, oh, well, that's just.

Speaker B:

That's all of our current projects.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

What's happening?

Speaker A:

Nope.

Speaker A:

That's just where we are.

Speaker A:

That's where we are.

Speaker A:

Stagnation is death.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

If we don't have motion, it crumbles and falls and we lose.

Speaker A:

We lose grip of it.

Speaker A:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker B:

The crumble is chaos.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

The crumble is.

Speaker A:

Crumble is chaos.

Speaker A:

We don't have control.

Speaker A:

And then we're back to square one.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And you and I both realize, you know, got the urgency of, like, okay, no, we can't stop.

Speaker B:

We'll never be a square one, though.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

Everything is purposeful.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

There's a lesson in it that allows you to graduate.

Speaker A:

We've gotten a lifetime's worth of game in the past two years.

Speaker B:

We will never be the same no.

Speaker A:

Oh, my God, no.

Speaker A:

Oh, my God, no.

Speaker A:

And it's us realizing how much we've gained so far is making me just incredible thankful for this journey.

Speaker A:

Because no matter what, like, I'm infinitely better.

Speaker B:

And the part, the part that's important.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

The most important part is understanding to the, The.

Speaker B:

The fact that you have to be able to give yourself grace.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

No real talk.

Speaker B:

Because the world won't.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

People won't.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

And none of what we learned or gained is written down on paper.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

It does not count in this world.

Speaker B:

It only counts for you.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

To the degree that you understand it and you know yourself, you know how much you've grown.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker B:

And you can apply it to your life from now on.

Speaker A:

Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker A:

I, I.

Speaker A:

What, what we do with this podcast is we coach ourselves.

Speaker A:

I coach you, you coach me.

Speaker A:

We.

Speaker A:

You coach you.

Speaker A:

I coach me.

Speaker A:

So we could.

Speaker A:

Then it's like, it's.

Speaker A:

It's not a metaphor.

Speaker A:

It's like, actually what's happening so that when we go into physical reality, we.

Speaker A:

We're listening to that, coach.

Speaker A:

I'm listening to you.

Speaker A:

We're out of physical reality.

Speaker A:

You're listening to me.

Speaker A:

I'm listening to me.

Speaker A:

You're listening to you.

Speaker B:

All the things that are rolling around in here, we get to, like, express them.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker B:

Put them out into the universe.

Speaker A:

Put them on a chalkboard.

Speaker A:

Like, we're like, right now.

Speaker A:

We're like, there's a chalkboard right here.

Speaker A:

We're like, oh, this, this.

Speaker A:

Oh, that makes sense.

Speaker A:

Oh, this does tie to parasites.

Speaker A:

At all.

Speaker A:

Oh, this is all part of.

Speaker A:

Oh.

Speaker A:

Oh, here's some scripture.

Speaker A:

Here's some.

Speaker A:

Here's how it relates.

Speaker A:

Here's the time in which we live.

Speaker A:

We pull it.

Speaker A:

It's an opportunity to pull our experience in the physical universe with the knowledge of God and what we've been taught all in one.

Speaker A:

So we could just map it out and then.

Speaker A:

Man.

Speaker A:

Pave the way forward, bro.

Speaker B:

This part of expressing it isn't the fun part for me.

Speaker B:

This part I barely ever remember, but it's also work, making myself come here and do all of this.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

The fun part for me is when I'm leisurely sitting down, editing the videos and, like, finding jewels to pull out and repost.

Speaker B:

And that part is fun.

Speaker A:

It's, like, fun.

Speaker B:

I'm.

Speaker B:

I'm.

Speaker B:

I'm actually learning at that point.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

This point.

Speaker B:

I don't even know what I'm saying.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I'm just, I'm Getting it out.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

This is.

Speaker A:

No, that's real.

Speaker A:

You know, am I.

Speaker A:

From my viewpoint, this is.

Speaker A:

No, I'm.

Speaker A:

I'm learning.

Speaker A:

I learn on the fly.

Speaker A:

I'm learning on the fly and.

Speaker A:

Because when I start seeing patterns and I see the connection, like for example, you connecting the, the parasite, physical, parasite cleanse with what's going on spiritually, like, it's.

Speaker A:

It.

Speaker A:

It eliminated the uncertainty I was having, like, just on the.

Speaker A:

Like.

Speaker A:

Oh, yeah, bro.

Speaker A:

You feel like this because you're doing a parasite cleanse.

Speaker A:

Do you realize what.

Speaker A:

How serious that is and what that represents on all levels?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You.

Speaker A:

You just shine a flash on them.

Speaker A:

Like.

Speaker A:

Yeah, bro, like you're affected.

Speaker A:

It's affecting everything in it.

Speaker A:

Not in a bad way.

Speaker A:

Because purging, when you purge demons out, that's.

Speaker A:

That's like a.

Speaker A:

It's a.

Speaker A:

It's going to affect other people.

Speaker A:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I mean, if you don't learn how to like, not be the antagonist.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker B:

You're going to antagonize.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker A:

And that.

Speaker A:

You're gonna.

Speaker A:

That the pro.

Speaker A:

The.

Speaker A:

The parasite die off.

Speaker A:

The, the.

Speaker A:

The.

Speaker A:

The energy that's given off from what you're doing, people are going to smell it.

Speaker A:

And if you don't have.

Speaker A:

If you're not trained to deal with.

Speaker A:

And not even if you're not trained, it's just part of the process.

Speaker A:

It's like there's going to be some residual effects and you got to deal with it.

Speaker A:

That's the, that's the quote unquote karma of like, of your thinking.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You feel what I'm saying?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

It's like, yeah, it's good.

Speaker A:

You got to deal with it, you know, gotta deal with your own.

Speaker B:

True.

Speaker B:

And you can, you know, apologize people that you've wronged.

Speaker B:

But yeah, you know, being a part of that being that also is a part.

Speaker B:

Atonement is a part of the process too.

Speaker A:

Boom.

Speaker A:

That was real.

Speaker A:

No, and I, I felt that I'm like, okay, now you're.

Speaker B:

And we coming up on October, Day of the tone,.

Speaker A:

Man.

Speaker A:

The timing, bro.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

It's because all of this, you know, all this talk about, you know, purging demons, but it's like, what, what is the purpose of, you know, doing this work if you don't really atone for the effect.

Speaker A:

All the antagonist of effects you've had upon other.

Speaker A:

You feel me?

Speaker A:

It's really just making yourself feel good.

Speaker A:

But if you're not actually going out there and like, mending those mending Those relationships, making those wounds.

Speaker A:

You know, put putting salve on those wounds.

Speaker A:

What are you really doing?

Speaker B:

True.

Speaker A:

No real talk.

Speaker A:

You're not.

Speaker A:

You can't just heal yourself.

Speaker A:

You have to heal what you've caused and what you've done.

Speaker B:

Heal the world.

Speaker B:

Makes it a better place.

Speaker A:

But you start with yourself.

Speaker B:

True.

Speaker A:

And it could be a parasite cleanse.

Speaker B:

It could be automated looking at the man in the mirror.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker A:

That's step one.

Speaker A:

But no, it's just the man.

Speaker A:

The steps of atonement.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Okay, man.

Speaker A:

I know what they are.

Speaker A:

I'm sure self reflection is one of them.

Speaker B:

I remember somebody breaking down the word atonement.

Speaker B:

It was like that one meant.

Speaker B:

And it was like.

Speaker B:

Like we're divided because of this antagonism.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And.

Speaker B:

And the.

Speaker B:

At one minute is just like bringing the parts of God back together.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Like bringing the unity that leads the community that, like, helps us get back to where we need to be.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker A:

It's making me, as an as.

Speaker A:

Like a professional antagonist is making me be like, okay, what's happening, Adam, is like, you're climbing out of the parasitic urges of antagonizing others, and now you're stepping into responsibility, into atonement.

Speaker A:

So now I'm like, okay, Adam, what do you got to do to atone for what you have done?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And the answer is not get them or antagonizing.

Speaker A:

I'm not.

Speaker A:

I'm not being dramatic.

Speaker A:

Like, that's really, like, the prior cycles are like, okay, yeah, I get what I've done.

Speaker A:

I'm just gonna do it again.

Speaker A:

I'll just antagonize the people I've antagonized in my way of apologizing.

Speaker A:

Like, not sorry.

Speaker A:

Not sorry, but, like, I'm going to maybe kind of, like, flirt with an apology and then just, like, cut you down and make it funny.

Speaker A:

Because that's who I.

Speaker A:

That's.

Speaker A:

That's who I become.

Speaker B:

That's who you were.

Speaker A:

That's who I am slowly not becoming.

Speaker A:

I'm not gonna give myself credit until I start actually taking the steps of atonement.

Speaker A:

You feel what I'm saying?

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

The change is there.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Whether you want to accept it or not, the change is there.

Speaker B:

Taking the steps is just you living in that truth.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

This truth is truth.

Speaker A:

That's real.

Speaker A:

And also, when you atone, you gotta.

Speaker A:

It.

Speaker A:

You can't atone with the expectation that everything's going to be sweet.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

No, that's not the purpose of.

Speaker A:

It's not the Purpose.

Speaker B:

When you go through the, what's the, like the steps of, of, of being an alcoholic.

Speaker B:

And you got to go back and, like, tone with everybody, man.

Speaker B:

They're not happy with you because you apologize for the time you stole money from.

Speaker B:

Where my money at?

Speaker B:

Sorry.

Speaker B:

I'm still an alcoholic.

Speaker B:

I don't have your money or.

Speaker B:

What the hell are we talking.

Speaker A:

What are we talking about then?

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah, pay me back.

Speaker A:

Real talk.

Speaker A:

Real talk.

Speaker A:

Yeah, man.

Speaker A:

And I, I, I'll speak for myself.

Speaker A:

It's like, it's like the rim.

Speaker A:

Like, you, you come to the realization of what you've done, and it's like the, the, the border is.

Speaker A:

Here's the do the same shit and antagonize or go past it and apologize in a tone.

Speaker A:

And I think a lot of us stay within that, that orbit of I'm just using antagonism like, as, like the, the border between not actually taking responsibility and atoning.

Speaker A:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker B:

Either being the devil or being God.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You gotta make a choice.

Speaker B:

And then it's a conscious effort.

Speaker A:

The godly choices, going through that wall, parasitic wall, the antagonism wall, and just growing into that being.

Speaker B:

That could just be like that one.

Speaker A:

Minute, that one mint, that's like, hey, bro, that was up my bad, man.

Speaker A:

That was a dick.

Speaker A:

I'm not gonna continue being a dick.

Speaker A:

I love you.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I hear you.

Speaker A:

Hard work, Hard work.

Speaker A:

And it's, you know, you gotta do it when you hear it.

Speaker A:

And, you know, and your initial response is like, oh, no, I can't do that.

Speaker A:

That's the.

Speaker A:

We gotta.

Speaker A:

You feel me?

Speaker A:

That's what we gotta do.

Speaker A:

Whether it's doing something personally, whether it's a diet, whether it's anything like that.

Speaker A:

If you have that impulse of, oh, no, I can't, or oh, no, that's what you got to do, bro.

Speaker A:

And that's like, where I'm at right now.

Speaker A:

It's uncomfortable having this conversation because I'm saying I'm putting things out there to do that I don't want to do.

Speaker A:

I don't want to take it back.

Speaker A:

I don't feel like.

Speaker A:

I don't feel like doing.

Speaker B:

There you go.

Speaker A:

But what are we, what are we.

Speaker B:

Putting above emotions into the thing of God?

Speaker A:

All praise is due to Allah.

Speaker B:

It's for sure.

Speaker B:

Easier said than done.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker A:

Well, yeah.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

What version of the reality do you want to live in?

Speaker B:

Who do you want to be?

Speaker B:

Do you want to rise above emotions into the thing you got?

Speaker B:

So do the hard thing because there's the other option.

Speaker B:

Fall down into the depths of Satan.

Speaker A:

Oh, man.

Speaker B:

See how far down that spiral will take you.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

There's no depth.

Speaker A:

There's no end.

Speaker A:

There's no end.

Speaker B:

Hell and beyond.

Speaker B:

Eternal fire.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And you and I both know better than to chase others down that path.

Speaker A:

But we can't rise above emotions into thinking of God and just.

Speaker B:

It's not to say that you don't have emotions.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

It's that you're not operating emotionally.

Speaker B:

You're operating from a perspective of like.

Speaker B:

Like, past how I feel, what's right, what works, what creates peace, not chaos.

Speaker B:

Because if you're operating based on how you feel, that changes every moment.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

And it's reactionary.

Speaker B:

And everything that somebody else does affects how you feel.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Like, you saying that is just.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker A:

It's hitting me to where.

Speaker A:

Like, it's making me.

Speaker A:

Like, it's rattling my being to a point where I don't.

Speaker A:

I don't want to confront it, but I know that I have to.

Speaker A:

And I know the next level depends on me confronting it.

Speaker B:

It's waiting on you.

Speaker B:

You're waiting on you?

Speaker A:

Yes, I am.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And the universe is waiting on you.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

But I could choose to wait, or I could just do it.

Speaker A:

And one thing I have, as you know, is I'm not even saying I'm a man yet.

Speaker A:

I'm just growing into that role.

Speaker A:

Is it's never as hard as you make it out in your mind.

Speaker A:

No, it's not.

Speaker B:

You take one step towards God, and he takes two towards you.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

He multiplies the ease.

Speaker A:

So I. I don't even think it's like.

Speaker A:

It's just making the choice.

Speaker A:

I'm just gonna do it.

Speaker A:

Why even, like.

Speaker A:

Why, like, play in my mind about, oh, it's so hard, and, oh, I don't know.

Speaker A:

I'm like the parasites.

Speaker A:

Okay, we.

Speaker A:

We've come to the conclusion.

Speaker B:

Hot Cheetos or bean soup?

Speaker A:

Yeah, bean soup.

Speaker B:

Every time.

Speaker A:

Let's just do it.

Speaker A:

Yeah, let's just eat bean soup.

Speaker A:

Let's just atone.

Speaker A:

Let's just communicate.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And to be fair, we have.

Speaker A:

We're getting a lot better at communicating now.

Speaker A:

It's like, okay, now it's.

Speaker A:

And it's us that has to be the standard bearers and the example setters when it comes to this, because we've been trained.

Speaker A:

Communicate, but accumulate with a purpose and also to a point, to atone so you can heal, so you can move on.

Speaker A:

And if we're calling Ourselves, the peacemakers and kingdom builders and foi.

Speaker A:

Then if we can't do this, it's not who else is going to do it.

Speaker B:

We have to qualify ourselves.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

Because nobody else is going to.

Speaker B:

To have grace for our people.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker B:

And we don't.

Speaker B:

We don't have grace for ourselves.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

So we have to.

Speaker B:

We have to learn to give ourselves grace.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

So that we have the ability to give that grace to others.

Speaker A:

And then doing that, extending grace to others.

Speaker A:

I.

Speaker A:

They're not going to extend grace the other way.

Speaker A:

They're going to.

Speaker A:

Within maybe the hopes of allowing them to give.

Speaker A:

Extend grace to themselves and then maybe extending it to others.

Speaker A:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker B:

Well, that's the weight of the crown.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You know, the weight of.

Speaker B:

Of being the leader is that it's a thankless job.

Speaker B:

So don't expect it.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

Even when I get thank yous, all.

Speaker A:

Praise is due to a lot.

Speaker B:

Because guess what?

Speaker B:

If I start taking those thank yous personally.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

When they don't come, I'm frustrated.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

I'm upset.

Speaker B:

And the thanks don't always go.

Speaker B:

Don't worry about it.

Speaker B:

Just do your job.

Speaker A:

Just do your job.

Speaker B:

And if you do your job well enough.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You can look back on yourself and be like, I did that.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Proud of that.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Regardless to what anybody else thinks about.

Speaker A:

It and given who we follow and the work that he's done and the quote unquote thanks and lack of, lack of things he's given, it's like, why would we expect anything different?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

There's not going to be.

Speaker A:

For people singing for he's the Jolly Good Fellow, Red Carpets Flowers.

Speaker B:

That's not the job we signed up for.

Speaker A:

No, sir.

Speaker B:

That job exists.

Speaker A:

And it's.

Speaker B:

If you want to go out and be a part of Satan's world, that job exists.

Speaker A:

That's not what we chose.

Speaker B:

It's the quicker route to becoming a millionaire.

Speaker B:

You sure you don't want it?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So many people have done it successfully.

Speaker B:

Successfully here.

Speaker B:

The.

Speaker A:

The what makes our job the hardest is like, the more, the more bigger moves you make in the material universe towards the mission, the less thanks and the more hate we're gonna get and the more difficulty.

Speaker A:

So it's like you really have to be humble enough to know that your reward is literally from.

Speaker A:

It's a.

Speaker A:

It's from a lot, bro.

Speaker A:

And you have to have that connection with him constantly for him to assure you of that.

Speaker A:

And I told you last Night after pushing, FYI, hanging out with you, meeting the sister at the.

Speaker A:

At the org and taking her home because she needed ride.

Speaker A:

Mgt, like, that was Allah's way of telling me, it's like, I got you.

Speaker A:

You.

Speaker A:

You see it.

Speaker A:

I see it.

Speaker A:

You and I both know that when we're aligned doing the Lord's work, we meet up at right times.

Speaker A:

We pass each other on the street in our cars, and, like, that's a law saying, like, yeah, it may feel a little off, but y' all are doing it.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

It's not easy, guys.

Speaker A:

But if it's.

Speaker A:

If you thought it was gonna easy, if you can't take from black people, why the are you doing this job?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You're in the wrong business.

Speaker A:

You're in the wrong business.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

In the wrong business.

Speaker B:

We got to take much.

Speaker A:

We got to take plenty.

Speaker A:

We got to take much.

Speaker A:

And we have to smile and say, I love you, brother.

Speaker A:

That's what it is.

Speaker B:

I ain't turning the cheeks on no devil, but I'll turn the cheeks on a brother.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah, bro.

Speaker A:

We have.

Speaker A:

We got to.

Speaker A:

And then, like, the thing is, we don't.

Speaker A:

I.

Speaker A:

What I'm proud of us for is like, our love for our people has remained unshaken.

Speaker A:

That's how I know we're f. ROI.

Speaker A:

It's like, no matter what, it's like, no, no, you're not gonna.

Speaker A:

You're not.

Speaker A:

You're not gonna play with our love for our people.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker A:

You know, you may be frustrated, we may be annoyed, but it's like, no,.

Speaker B:

No, no, no, no.

Speaker A:

The base of it is like, you know, we love you, bro.

Speaker A:

Like, on.

Speaker A:

That's not going nowhere.

Speaker B:

I. I continually feel that.

Speaker B:

Well, so you're not going to be able to empty it with one action.

Speaker A:

Nah.

Speaker A:

Or litany of actions or meanness or anything.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker A:

Anything.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker B:

And.

Speaker B:

And the deeper the well gets, the more.

Speaker B:

The more capacity I have to extend out what it means to be my people.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You know?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I'm willing to tolerate a lot.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I'm a poor, righteous teacher.

Speaker B:

I ain't poor because I ain't got no money.

Speaker B:

I'm poor because I got a job that nobody else wants.

Speaker B:

Nobody wants to do.

Speaker A:

People are terrified of this job.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker A:

People are really terrified of the job of actually saving, saving, healing, fixing.

Speaker B:

Why they got a gun to your head.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

Asking you where you from?

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

People bang on you.

Speaker A:

No, no, no.

Speaker A:

People don't even want to not look at, like, look at, bro.

Speaker B:

No, they Want to cross the street when they see us.

Speaker A:

They don't want to.

Speaker A:

They'll drive around skid row.

Speaker A:

You feel what I'm saying?

Speaker A:

Like, nobody that like that where we are.

Speaker A:

No one wants to look at that, bro.

Speaker A:

We are the only people organized body that not just looks at it says, if we say, I love you, brother,.

Speaker B:

I want the best for you.

Speaker A:

I want.

Speaker A:

I have the tools to help you get you out of the condition.

Speaker B:

I. I can just point you to the tools.

Speaker B:

I don't hold the tools.

Speaker B:

I'm not out of.

Speaker B:

This is not me.

Speaker B:

This is just a system that I happen to be a part of that has helped me be the best version of myself.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

And I want you to be the best version of yourself.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

You know, all praise is due to Allah.

Speaker A:

All praise is due to Allah.

Speaker A:

This is not a coincidence that I'm gonna, you know.

Speaker A:

Closing the gap.

Speaker B:

Yeah, that's great.

Speaker A:

Closing the gap Book written by Jabril Muhammad.

Speaker A:

Interviews with the honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Speaker A:

I am reading it again right now.

Speaker B:

And YouTube.

Speaker A:

No, I need to.

Speaker A:

That's kind of like.

Speaker A:

But I can't read it because I guess I could, but then it's like I'm literally reading over the mess.

Speaker A:

The.

Speaker A:

The minister's voice and it seems like a.

Speaker A:

Seems like a fraud.

Speaker B:

I mean, somebody got it.

Speaker A:

Someone's got to do it, though.

Speaker A:

I feel you.

Speaker B:

The Quran was God's word.

Speaker A:

They reading over that.

Speaker A:

They read that.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

You know, never say never.

Speaker A:

But it's.

Speaker B:

It would.

Speaker A:

How would you.

Speaker A:

I'd have to have different.

Speaker A:

Because it's an interview.

Speaker A:

So you have brother Jabil in here.

Speaker B:

Stop.

Speaker B:

Get out your ego.

Speaker B:

Just read the book.

Speaker A:

That's dead.

Speaker B:

Read the words on the page.

Speaker A:

But there's.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker A:

There's two voices, brother.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You don't gotta be.

Speaker B:

You don't gotta be a audible actor in order to do it.

Speaker A:

I wanna be.

Speaker A:

I wanna do.

Speaker A:

I would want to.

Speaker B:

You wanna do it that way, fine.

Speaker B:

But.

Speaker B:

But it's a thin line between doing it right and making a mockery.

Speaker B:

I would suggest reading it.

Speaker A:

I feel you.

Speaker A:

And like, when you said that, it's like the antagonist is like, I'm gonna go extra.

Speaker B:

Imagine if somebody.

Speaker B:

Imagine if somebody tried to read Elijah Muhammad's books in Elijah Muhammad's voice.

Speaker B:

Those would be grounds for dismissal.

Speaker B:

Like, people would be ready to fire them.

Speaker A:

So no, but okay.

Speaker A:

To be.

Speaker A:

To be 100 honest.

Speaker A:

There are people who would do, like, respectful.

Speaker A:

Even the minister, like, when he Talks like him.

Speaker A:

It's like, oh, that's literally how he talk.

Speaker A:

And it's done.

Speaker A:

It's done respectfully because he had a very peculiar way of talking.

Speaker B:

People who knew him, people who were there, people who he personally trained.

Speaker B:

I wouldn't suggest the try kind of get weird.

Speaker A:

Yeah, it's.

Speaker A:

You would.

Speaker A:

It'd be very difficult not to sound like mockery.

Speaker B:

And it, it would be.

Speaker B:

A lot of people be like, no, I'm not listening to that version.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

But that wasn't.

Speaker A:

Allah chose him.

Speaker A:

So he could have Farrakhan come in and really be the trumpet.

Speaker A:

You know, it's like, okay, well, I'm gonna.

Speaker A:

I'm gonna put.

Speaker A:

I'm gonna put this message in this vessel.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And then I'm gonna transfer that.

Speaker A:

That message to this vessel.

Speaker A:

That way I'm capturing all of them.

Speaker B:

Well, that's how each one teach one is how, you know, the message stays alive.

Speaker B:

It's like Minister Farrakhan is from a more modern time, so him having the message means it would reach a more modern audience.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

Elijah Muhammad was from a different phase, and so his message reached that phase.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

You know, and.

Speaker B:

And the way Minister Farrakhan's message works, it resonates with the ball players, the.

Speaker B:

The positions.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You know, it.

Speaker B:

It resonates with the most.

Speaker B:

The powerful of our group.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And it's.

Speaker B:

It's.

Speaker B:

It's supposed to.

Speaker A:

Nah, real talk.

Speaker B:

It's on time for the time we're in.

Speaker A:

No, absolutely.

Speaker A:

And it's just.

Speaker A:

It's wild thinking that the messenger's my height.

Speaker A:

Probably 5, 5, 5, I think.

Speaker A:

5, 5, 5, 6.

Speaker A:

Simple.

Speaker A:

Probably 110 pounds maybe.

Speaker A:

And talked very similar.

Speaker A:

Simple and peculiar.

Speaker A:

Like it was a very.

Speaker A:

It.

Speaker A:

His voice is very like, distinct.

Speaker A:

Very distinct and very like.

Speaker A:

Wait, what.

Speaker A:

What's he saying?

Speaker B:

Yeah, you gotta.

Speaker B:

You gotta really, really listen.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Like maybe that's ah, part of the design.

Speaker A:

That's the design.

Speaker A:

It's like if you.

Speaker A:

You really have to listen to him to hear him.

Speaker A:

You can't just like farhan.

Speaker A:

Anyone within 20 mile radius can hear that, brother.

Speaker B:

Mm.

Speaker A:

The messenger.

Speaker A:

You really have to be like, tune.

Speaker B:

Your ears up and everything he's saying are jewels.

Speaker A:

Everything.

Speaker B:

Enough that they could turn every one of his speeches into books.

Speaker A:

And they do.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Check out the OGMFG Inc. YouTube, by the way, if you want to listen to all of the messengers books.

Speaker A:

Not all of them, but all the main ones.

Speaker A:

And no, they.

Speaker A:

They did not.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker A:

They did not.

Speaker A:

I don't Know I did not.

Speaker A:

Ogmfg Inc. That you did.

Speaker A:

To read all of his books or listen to his books with some.

Speaker A:

Some good music in the background for some of them.

Speaker B:

You gotta create a whole new page for that book.

Speaker A:

Which one?

Speaker A:

Closing the Gap.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

They'll take that.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

No, them.

Speaker A:

That's a rap.

Speaker B:

You put me as a far kind up there.

Speaker A:

It's a rap.

Speaker B:

They don't like far.

Speaker A:

They do not.

Speaker B:

His modern voice, his modern world.

Speaker A:

No, no.

Speaker B:

It's poison to them.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And I'm gonna say everyone listening right now is just.

Speaker A:

I'll be transparent.

Speaker A:

Is every minister video.

Speaker A:

Minister Farrakhan video I put on YouTube is taken down immediately.

Speaker A:

And the.

Speaker A:

My main OGMFG page, which I had for roughly eight years, was shut down because there was too much Farrakhan on it.

Speaker B:

Let's be careful about how much we talk about that, too.

Speaker A:

I know.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Strategy.

Speaker A:

This.

Speaker B:

This video right here.

Speaker A:

I ain't mad at him, bro.

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker A:

I can just look at it, let people know, hey, it's real out here.

Speaker A:

We got enemies.

Speaker A:

And they have.

Speaker A:

They have their turf.

Speaker A:

I ain't mad at them.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

So they got a job to do.

Speaker A:

They do.

Speaker A:

And they're doing it well.

Speaker A:

Kudos.

Speaker A:

But you're not gonna stop us.

Speaker B:

No, sir.

Speaker B:

You silence us, but you ain't gonna stop us.

Speaker A:

Can't silence us.

Speaker B:

They could try.

Speaker A:

You could shut down a page, but you're not going to shut us up.

Speaker A:

They.

Speaker A:

They could kill us.

Speaker A:

They could try to kill us.

Speaker A:

Even that.

Speaker B:

I wasn't going to go there, but that's exactly what I mean.

Speaker A:

I understand.

Speaker A:

They can try.

Speaker A:

Yeah, they can try, but that'll just.

Speaker B:

Make this podcast even bigger.

Speaker A:

Even bigger.

Speaker A:

And it's like they can't kill a 5 foot 5 man from Savannah, Georgia, with third education.

Speaker A:

Like, you're not.

Speaker A:

You're not.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

You're not killing.

Speaker B:

Not.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

And if we're aligned with him 100%, and we are.

Speaker A:

It's like we have that same.

Speaker A:

Not to get Kage, but we have that same level of protection.

Speaker B:

I just like.

Speaker B:

To me, I don't make those assumptions.

Speaker B:

I don't fear death if that's what Allah wants.

Speaker B:

This.

Speaker B:

Whatever he wants, I'm fine with.

Speaker A:

Yeah, there we go.

Speaker B:

I'm just.

Speaker B:

I'm living right now, enjoying right now.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker B:

Do the best that I can while I got this.

Speaker A:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

And whatever happens, happens.

Speaker A:

Praise the Lord.

Speaker A:

There you go.

Speaker A:

Ready to close it out?

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

Do it.

Speaker A:

Yes, sir.

Speaker B:

Give me a couple z's right about.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker A:

This time we're both hidden.

Speaker A:

Bismillahirrahim Alhamdulillah Rabi Lavamin Arachman.

Speaker A:

Hola.

Speaker A:

Thank you for this honest conversation of self reflection.

Speaker A:

Thank you for allowing us to coach each other and ourselves so we can apply what we have learned into your physical reality to continue to build up our people, love our people, forgive our people, have grace on ourselves so that we can usher in Thy kingdom utilizing Thy chosen we love and serve you alone.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Amen.
